The University continues to closely monitor the evolving situation of COVID-19 and is following the guidelines issued by State/Central Government from time-to-time. In response to the current pandemic condition in India, the University has taken some initiatives to support the prospective students along with the existing LPU community. Fully Online Application and Admission process: Student can complete all the stages of admission from Application to appearing for test, interview, taking admission and uploading of documents through online mode only. Proctored Test/ Interview from Home: LPU has also initiated the conduct of remotely proctored online LPU NEST (Eligibility Exam) from home and remote video Interviews for admission. So, LPU NEST will be conducted in online mode only now. In order to apply for the programme, you can refer the following steps : 1 Register yourself on the portal 2. Fill the details 3. Choose the programme 4. Apply for LPUNEST 5. Make the payment for LPU NEST and Book the slot for the Exam I. e date and time for the exam as per your availability. 6. Appear and Qualify the LPU NEST and wait for Result 7. Participate in Online Counselling and Seat Allotment Process if applicable 8. After the seat allotment, proceed for Admissions. Hi,Being an alumni I would like to say that following would be the procedure of LPU NEST : LPUNEST is National Entrance and Scholarship Test for admission to various programmes in Lovely Professional University. This test forms the basis of eligibility and scholarship for most of the programmes and for some of the programme test is applicable only for scholarship. LPU NEST is conducted online and it is MCQ based test with no negative marking. The registration of LPU NEST is open Online and you can apply for the LPU NEST. Due to the situation that is COVID-19, the exam dates will be informed based on the Government decision. One more important thing, you can find the syllabus of LPU NEST. Exam dates, exam pattern, and moreover sample questions on the LPU website. The paper is designed on the very basic knowledge of the courses that you have studied till date and also focused on the discipline you are writing the exam. English subject is mandatory part in this exam. Content is completely based on basics and specific topics are shared on their website as well. Rest depends which course you are choosing. LPU NEST is an online exam with no negative marking (Fully MCQs). There are two chances for LPU NEST. If somehow you are not able to qualify for the test on the first attempt then you have a second chance to go for it but within a limited period at the time of admissions. It is conducted in more than 170 centres across India. The final slot booking will be done by the university on the basis of availability. The university reserves the right to book a slot as per the availability of the test centre. The university also reserves the right to add/ remove any test city in the list. A list of test cities is available on the LPU website. But due to the COVID-19 situation, exams being conducted online at the student's place. In order to take admission in LPU you need to appear for LPU NEST exam. The test is an objective test and the structure of the test depends upon the course that you are intending to take admission. LPU NEST exam time also depends upon the course that you wish to take admission. For B.Tech courses even the previous year sample test can be downloaded from the LPU website. In order to apply the candidate needs to visit LPU website and apply and according has to book a slot. LPU NEST will be conducted online while the candidate is sitting at home in a proctored mode. Application fee for LPU NEST is INR 1000 for boys and INR 500 for girls. However, For Printed LPU NEST Kit Cost of Application form and Printed LPU NEST Kit is INR1500 (for Boys) and INR1000 (for Girls). .

Hi, Nikki k Being alumni I can say that till now LPU NEST exam will be conducted online. If the conditions of covid19 do not improve then for the future this test will be online. LPU is a university that does not take any chance with the health of its students.
