in which month the advertisement for upsc and ies are published??? is it possible to prepare well for ies &upsc without any coaching??

UPSC Notification for preliminary exam is made in the months of November/ December each year with complete details in "Employment News" and "Rozgar Samachar" available from news agents. The exam is conducted in May each year. For details you may better check the official website of

yes, u can prepare UPSC by ur own.but u hve to workout 14 hours daily upto an single year.den u will be said as ready.best luck
