It depends on the marks and rank in JEE Mains. Some students do not take admission in 1st or 2nd round of choice filling because they don't get the desired branch, so some seats of institutions remain vacant. If you wait for last counseling, you might get admission in NIT. If you have AIR under 25000, you may get admission in NIT. For this, choose all branches of all NITs in choice filling.

The score mentioned is not high enough to get admission in an NIT.
But still, your friend can try and see if there is a seat vacant in any NIT.

You will not get any NIT or GFTI as you have not secured 75% in class 12 which is the main thing for admission in any NIT or GFTI.

Hi there, there are many universities which accept JEE rank for admission. I have no clue about the NIT admission. There are 1622 engineering colleges in India accepting JEE Main scores. One of the top ranking universities of India - the Lovely Professional University gives direct admission to the students scoring equal to or more than 85 percent in JEE Mains. They are given scholarships as well. However, those having scored less than 85 percent need not feel disheartened. They can appear for LPU NEST the entrance cum Scholarship Exam of LPU and appear for the proctored test sitting at home. You may get a huge scholarship as well. Let
