In which university is it easier to get admission into MBA course among Thapar University and LPU?

<p>Hey, so between Thapar University and LPU for MBA admission, I'd say LPU feels a bit easier to get into, especially if you're aiming for 2025-26. Both are solid schools with good reps—Thapar's got that established vibe—but LPU's process is more flexible. You basically need a bachelor's with around 55% marks, and they take scores from LPUNEST (which you can retake), CAT, MAT, or others, plus a quick GD/PI. No super strict cutoffs like some places, and they've got scholarships that can ease things if your score's decent. Thapar's competitive too, relying on similar exams but with tighter spots.<br>From what I've seen on LPU's site, their Mittal School of Business keeps it straightforward—apply online, qualify the test, chat it out, and you're in if it fits. Campus is huge, placements rock (up to 21 LPA the highest lately), and they welcome more students overall. The only difference is in some of the accepted entrance exams.</p>

Short answer — <strong data-start="30" data-end="77">LPU is generally easier than Thapar for MBA</strong>, but it depends:</p><ul data-start="98" data-end="618"><li data-start="98" data-end="284"><p data-start="100" data-end="284">Thapar MBA (LM Thapar School of Management) admits via CAT, NMAT, CMAT, etc., and its MBA cutoffs are fairly high: Thapar's CMAT cutoff was ~75.&nbsp;</p></li><li data-start="285" data-end="425"><p data-start="287" data-end="425">LPU MBA is more flexible: they accept LPUNEST, CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT and require ~55% in graduation.&nbsp;</p></li><li data-start="426" data-end="618"><p data-start="428" data-end="618">LPU also has a bigger intake and more scholarship options, so for someone looking at <em data-start="513" data-end="544">easier access + lower barrier</em>, LPU tends to be more accessible.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p data-start="620" data-end="776"><strong data-start="620" data-end="626">So</strong>: if you want safety + flexibility → <strong data-start="663" data-end="670">LPU</strong>.
