In X class I scored 75% in Sci and 45% in maths. I want to go for PCB in XII.my teacher is discouraging me and askin me to go for arts. sugs

Hi you can choose science stream provided you have real interest in the subject, aptitude to experiment and learn and draw conclusions basing on the evidences and experimentation.
There is nothing wrong in going for Bio stream with PCB and there are umpteen oppurtunities for the students apart from

75% in science for PCB is okay! undoubtedly you need to work hard but if you are interested in the subject, then opt for it.. i know students who scored less than you and opted for pcb and have actually passed well.

Hi, don't discouraged due to teachers . You got 75% in sci that is sufficient for PCB.Work hard and enjoy in the company of books. Start doing preparation for competitive exam(PMT,AIIMS etc) .try to score more than 80% in XII. Best of luck for your bright future.......
