This is just to share little information that I have on global warming. I request the forum members to get themselves acquantained with the term Carbon footprints incase they have not done so. Most othe forum members, I belive, must already be knowing it.To cut the long theory short, let us understand that when we consume any kind of fossil fuel ( wood, charcoal, gas, petrol, diesel) we contribute to global warming in some way. Since the consumption of these items cannot be avoided totally, the best we can do is to reduce it to the minimum possible quantity. Generally it is believed that India & China are largest contributors to this but the fact is that this is not the case. May be that higher population is the main reason for this thought because if we speak for India alone then the ratio of population to area of the country is much higher than other countries and the resources are comparatively less. So we are constrained to build infrastructure, make indsutries etc within the area that we have got. If one calculate the Carbon footprints then that will give a true measure of who is more responsible for glo... view more

YES. But we can't blame only INDIA and CHINA for this. Japan, Germany, taiwan like manufacturing hubs are also very much responsible. Although India indulges itself into eco-friendly activities like tree plantation and forest surviving but Japan like countries are all the way neglecting such activities. What do you say?
