India's inability to produce skilled workers has reasons which are quite obvious and also reasons which are not obvious to all & sundry. I will try to focus on the not so obvious reasons here as an attemmpt to share some information, which curiously speaking we all know. The not so obvious reasons according to me are as follows;1. We not willing to share knowledge for the fear of getting upstaged or bypassed.2. Most of us remain contended with the amount of knowledge we have and satisfy our ego by displaying it amongst the people who are unfirtunately not well read.3. well not just the private sector but the public sectors too require to put in active participation in case of developing skill professionals. And at the education level, a lot of industry exposure and practice sessions offered will help a lot in developing skills. But most important part is the interest of the candidate, which will help him/her the most in becoming a skilled worker in a particular field.
