India should have more number of Open Universities.
India should have more number of Open Universities to cater the education needs of burgeoning population, as most of the students don't get admission in regular colleges, open universities can be be the best solution to this issue, like IGNOU, India should have more open universities.

INDIA ALREADY HAS A GOOD NUMBER OF DISTANCE EDUCATION UNIVERSITIES WHO ARE OFFERING UGC AND DEB APPROVED GRADUATE AND MASTER DEGREE PROGRAMS.SOME OF THE WELL KNOWN UNIVERSITIES ARE ASSAM DOWN TOWN UNIVERSITY,DON BOSCO UNIVERSITY,VENKATESHWARA OPEN UNIVERSITY,SURESH GYAN VIHAR UNIVERSITY.STUDENTS SHOULD VISIT THEIR WEBSITES. -
As long as the The Quality of Education is maintained , There should be open Universities . Right now IGNOU is doing well but again the operational issues are there Students have shown faculty issues , then there is also issues in the Centers of IGNOU
