Santosh,,,,,,,,,, .NET is a framework in which you can work with many languages like C#, VB.NET , ASP.NET and some other languages...............whereas JAVA is a language.................JAVA is normally used to build secure application and .NET for building application a bit faster

.net is frame work where Java is a Language , you are asking about .net and J2EE ?
