interested in netwrking.but sumone told me dat its not a good field for girls n also salary's not really lucrative.is it true?

m a B.tech(CS) 3rd yr student.m ok with programming but more towards networking..whats d career perspective in this field for girls.i have to do a summer training this june.so just want to know that whether i should go for ntwrking or programming.is training better or doing some course?
