Interior and Furniture course at LPU?

As LPU alumni, I been to interior designing department during one of their event, The Interior and Furniture Design course at LPU is good. Interior design from LPU is an option worth. Be it academics or placements, LPU is leading in all the major fields and has become one of the finest universities for interior design. The department has Highly experienced faculty mostly with industry exposure engaged in consultancy and research to add immense value to the academic life. We have faculty from IIT, NID, CEPT, NIFT etc. The highlights of the course are Extensive Furniture Design (carpentry and metal workshop) in which student gets the opportunity to make full scale furniture pieces with understanding of various joints, working and handling materials and evaluating the strength.

Hi Vaibhavi, There are two programs are of course duration B.Sc. Interior and furniture design takes 3 years (6 semesters) whereas Bachelor of design or B. design takes 4 years (8 semesters). # While offering B.Sc. (Interior and furniture Design), the intent of LPU is to meet the expectations of the industry creating a Symbiosis between technical, creative and artists. # With best of my knowledge in B-Design their focus is just on providing professional degree offering skills in practical interior design and execution and full-scale furniture design and fabrication through rigorous studio work and hands-on workshops. To satisfy and eligibility criteria for both of these programs a candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in 12th class and English should be studied as a subject. Online admissions are already open.
