The qualification for a principal of a CBSE-affiliated senior secondary school (up to class XII) requires a Masters Degree or Honours Degree, a teaching degree or a Diploma in Education or its equivalent, and at least 5 years of experience of administrative charge of a recognised High School or at least 8 years of teaching experience in a recognised High School. As a BSc Chemistry graduate with 47 years of age, you will be eligible for a B.Ed program. It is recommended to check with the specific B.Ed programme you are interested in for their eligibility criteria.
