Is 2 years polytech through lateral entry better option than 3 years polytech? Is there any disadvantage of 2 years polytechnic?

I am 12th pcm passed student. Also tell me is polytech from good reputed govt. college better option than b.tech from avg. private college?

Better option for you is the polytechnic in lateral entry.

But i think in govt. jobs and for lateral entry in btech 2nd year they require 3 yrs polytechnic diploma. So pls guide.
