Is 2011 MS in Software Systems from BITS Pilani(distance edu) recognized by UGC for lecturer post in Eng Colg? or to give NET/SET?

I've passed BE in Computer Science from Shibpur BE Colg, Kolkata (regular, 2005) and MS in Software Systems from BITS Pilani(distance edu) in 2011. Am I eligible for the lecturer/assistant professor posts in any Govt College? Also m'I eligible to write NET/SET exams with this MS degree?
