is 3 months practice good enough to attempt cds upsc xam? i want to practice at home nly..want to give my best..please help

it has only 3 subs:math,eng n gk. i'll be writing 4 da 1st time n want to score well..if prep at home is nt enough pls suggest institutes where they teach nly these subs..ua reply vl b of great help..thnk u:)
