Is 3 yr diploma degree equivalent to B.Sc degree?

Is 3 yr diploma degree equivalent to B.Sc degree? If so, can someone produce it officially from the internet, from any website like AICTE, DTE, etc ? I would be obliged even if I receive the exact definition of Diploma from any official website . :) Thank you !

No Degree and Diploma both are different. Degree is called Graduation.

Degree and Diploma both are different, but in the view of job opportunity B.Sc is considered equivalent with diploma, e.g. in gov. sector post for Diploma electronics and B.Sc electronics are both applicable for same post or equivalent to each other.

No. BSc gets the graduation status, but not the diploma and hence further opportunities like Post graduation is lost for diploma.
