Is 75% attendance required for 12th std for eligibility in engineering colleges?

Im in 12th standard hsc board. is 75% attendance required for admission in iit and other eng. colleges? or is there no rules regarding that. Please tell me for both- 2014 and 2015 exam?

Yes it is very important and attendence is important in board classes and internal assesment marks are based on attendence.

Hi there is a rule od making thd attebdance75% but its mainly your college which is important as it may allow you a leave.

In 12th you only need to have PCM with 50% marks to get admission in engineering college they not ask to you for attendee
