Is a 1-year BEd valid for government teaching jobs?

    Since the 1-year BEd course in India isn’t officially implemented yet, we can’t say that this degree will be valid for government jobs also. As of now, the 2-year BEd program is accepted for the government teaching position. In some cases, the distance BEd degree from IGNOU is also accepted.

    The candidate can also opt for ITEP or Integrated Teaching programs to be eligible for the government teaching jobs.
