Is a Bachelor's degree in engineering by distance learning is valid?

I have completed my Diploma in electrical engineering in 2017 and working as an engineer in textile industry and looking for a distance learning programme for B.Tech. What should I do?

    Yes, of course a distance degree from a recognized distance university is equally valued to a regular degree. The only difference between the two is, one is inside a classroom and one is inside a virtual classroom. A degree earned from Indira Gandhi National Open University or Sikkim Manipal University of Distance education is as valid as the degree obtained from any regular colleges of India. This is because both the universities are recognized by UGC.
