Is a career in a Bioinformatics field a good option?

<p>The choice of a profession in Bioinformatics is <strong>entirely up to the individual scientist</strong>. For Bioinformatics experts, there are numerous institutions both in India and overseas that provide teaching and research posts. Due to the increasing demand for Bioinformatics scientists, they earn more than the national average.</p><p>Bioinformatics can be used in a variety of fields, including the Pharmaceutical, <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/science/agriculture-chp">Agricultural</a>, public, and <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/medicine-health-sciences/medicine-chp">Medical</a> sectors. Recently, Bioinformatics has expanded into oncology in order to find the causative mutations that cause cancer. Typically, outside organisations create computer software, although if competent, bioinformatics scientists can also find work in that industry.</p>
