    B.Tech:
    B.Tech is an engineering degree of 4 years duration. Generally, in all of the colleges, after the completion of B.Tech, campus placement is arranged for engineering graduates. In some very popular colleges, most of the passed out students get placed. But not from all institutions. After completion of engineering, it is a little bit easy to get a job in a private company but really difficult to get placed in a government organisation because, in government organisation, seats for engineering candidates are limited but competition is very high.     I guess it's B.Tech which has more weightage. But getting into a college which offers B.Tech degree is tough, while on the other hand, B.A. is also a great degree to pursue, you only have to choose the stream in which you want a B.A. degree (languages, multimedia, management, etc. ). Properly and carefully. I would rather suggest that go for the degree that you have interest in so that you won't regret later.
