The Faculty of Law, BHU is one of the chief universities of faculties, which is ranked as the largest residential institution in Asia. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), 2018 the University stands 3rd place in the overall ranking of universities, released by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD).

The Law school provides the finest placement training to the students, thus many reputed firms recruit the students. It has records of 70-80% of students placed every year.
