Is a degree in FDDI equivalent to B.Tech?
I got a rank of 210 in FDDI 2018. Is it a good rank? What makes it different from any other B.Tech colleges?

FDDI Hyderabad offers B. DES - that is Bachelor of Design - Four year courses in Footwear, Fashion & LGAD after 10+2. It offers its own degrees in Design and Accepted by All higher education in India & Abroad. THE FOOTWEAR DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE ACT, 2017 NO. 20 OF 2017 empowers institute to offer its own degrees. Its an Institute of National Importance, FDDI Act 2017.

FDDI is a design college. Footwear Design and Development Institute is a college for design course and offers Bachelor of design programme. It has no connection with B.Tech or engineering colleges. Yet, B.Tech is better in terms of degree if compared with FDDI because FDDI has some degree issues.
