A Diploma holder is eligible to apply for the SSC CHSL according to the educational eligibility requirements. The condition is that the Diploma must be equivalent to a 12th grade Certificate. A candidate must have finished the 12th grade in order to be eligible to apply for the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam. In addition, the candidate must be between the ages of 18 and 27. This exam is conducted for select Group D employees in the government. The eligibility criteria of SSC CHSL is given below. SSC CHSL Eligibility: Those candidates writing the SSC CHSL Exam this year must thoroughly understand the eligibility criteria. The SSC CHSL Eligibility criteria are as follows:
1. Nationality: Candidates must be nationals of India, Nepal, Bhutan
2. Age Limit: Candidates must be between the age group of 18 years to 27 years.
3. Qualifications: Candidates must be 12th pass or equivalent from a recognised board of a university. SO Diploma holders are not eligible for SSC CHSL.
