A Diploma holder is eligible to apply for the SSC CHSL according to the educational eligibility requirements. The condition is that the Diploma must be equivalent to a 12th grade Certificate. A candidate must have finished the 12th grade in order to be eligible to apply for the SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam. In addition, the candidate must be between the ages of 18 and 27.
