Is a gap of 3 years between 10 and 12 a big hurdle in admission into top engineering college in India? Will it make a bad impression on CV?

In India, admission in engineering is based on entrance examinations score only. If you complete 12th from a recognised school.and crack Engineering exam you will have no problem with respect to gap years for admission in engineering subject to you meeting age eligibility criteria of the college.
