Is A P State Council of Higher Education - Andhra Pradesh Tier 1 or Tier 2?

<p>The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) is the state-level governing body that regulates and overseers higher education institutions within the province of Andhra Pradesh, including the academic standards, curricula followed, and affiliation procedures. Since APSCHE itself is a regulatory governing body and not an educational institution, it cannot be classified as Tier 1 or Tier 2; however, the universities and colleges falling under the regulatory umbrella of APSCHE vary in quality from Tier 1 to Tier 2. Some affiliated institutions are granted Tier 1 status as they have a prestigious record of research output and placement records while others are simply labeled Tier 2.
