Is a perfect SAT score 1600 or 2400?

<p>A perfect SAT score is 1600 on the &lt;a href="https://www.shiksha.com/studyabroad/everything-you-need-to-know-about-sat-articlepage-1919"&gt;Digital SAT&lt;/a&gt; and not 2400. The SAT score of 2400 was used for the older version of SAT exam. There are two sections on the latest SAT exam version and both of them are scored in the following manner:</p><ul><li>SAT Reading + Writing (RW) Section: Scored between 200 - 800</li><li>SAT Math Section: Scored between 200 - 800</li></ul><p>So the minimum possible score on SAT can be 400, and the highest or perfect SAT score is 1600. This is how the scores are also calculated.&nbsp;</p>
