Is a room or flat available nearby LPU?

Being studied in LPU I believe I can answer our concern more appropriately. There are many accommodations available near LPU. You can find flats or rooms near Law GATE Rama Mandi at cheap rates but the problem living in those areas is the security. The area is not safe after evenings. Many of my friends were living near Law GATE during their first year of degree but then they shifted in hostels of LPU. LPU is one of the safest campuses of the world. With 4000+ CCTV cameras, 400+ security persons, A+ fire stations and high tech security gadgets LPU ensure drug free environment. LPU has a dedicated committee to deal with the issues of ragging and drug abuse. It is very strict against anyone doing unlawful activities in any form in the campus. They even rusticate the student if found guilty. Some features of LPU hostels are: 1. Their security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. Lady security staff are specially recruited for girls hostel security. 2. LPU has Zero tolerance towards drugs & alcohol. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. 3. The room are very spacious with facilities of ACs, coolers, Geysers (depending on the type of room you choose). 4.24x7 medical support in case of any emergency. 5. Laundry facility, gym facility at subsidized rates for hostellers. 6. Customised mess options like South India, North India etc. And healthy nutritious meals to keep you healthy. 7. Fun Fact, LPU has more CCTVs than even the New Delhi International Airport. In my opinion one should LPU hostels to live a healthy and motivating environment to study and excel. Hi, Firstly I want to add one thing that, as I am an existing student at LPU I can suggest you stay inside the LPU campus because of some reasons like, LPU has more CCTVs than even the New Delhi International Airport. The security department gives the necessary electronic security support system with 4000+ CCTV cameras for the safety of the LPU students and staff as well. At major entry/exit points LPU has Turnstile gates and boom barriers for vehicles, thereby conforming that every movement is monitored. With more than 400 full-time security officials, thousands of security cameras, Lovey Professional University is one of the safest campuses in the world. LPU security team consists of experienced ex-military men and women as well. The University has its very own fire station department also which is fully equipped with a fire truck and trained firemen. But in case you want to live outside the LPU campus for any reason, no problem, University never forces you to live in the hostel. there are lots of flats and rooms which are well furnished and the rent price is also not much high. Under 2 km there are 100+ building which gives you shelter to live and study. Thanks.

Hi there, YES, hostels, PGs, flats are also available outside LPU based on mine research. But being an educational consultant and as per my friend's recommendation who is working at LPU, I must say that Lovely Professional University is one of the best university. For security purposes, it is very reliable for the girls' students. It also contributes the gratification to the parents as well because we are living far away from our homes. The major concern of the parents is the security and safety of their children and LPU is well known for its security. Turnstiles gates are there at the entry of hostels so that no other person should enter the hostel. This University has stringent security measures and is Guarded by highly dedicated Security male and Female Guards deputed all around the premises. This University has Centralized Security Control Room with 4500+ CCTV cameras all around the university. Apart from this, they are providing other facilities also: Free internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only. In Campus Physiotherapy Clinic and Hospital with resident doctors and ambulances to provide medical assistance to students. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/Geyser/Air cooler). 24 hours security. Laundry Services (optional on payment basis) hygienic and nutritious vegetarian meals (optional) Hostel counselors ( solve the problems of students in the context of family issues, studies, homesickness, etc. ) Laundry facility Gym facility to remain fit. Rooms and flats are for sure available near LPU but they are not as safe as the hostels in the campus. Also, you will have to face different kinds of problems from time to time if you stay outside. Students think that it is comparably cheap to live outside, but it is mostly the other way round. They often end up spending way too much than that expected. The security that you will get inside the campus is not at all possible outside. It is very often that people living outside complaint of thefts and other issues.
