International students who are seeking admission at the University of Malaya are required to show their English Language Proficiency by qualifying exams such as IELTS. Students with a 5.5 IELTS score can join the University of Malaya for MEng courses only. Other courses offered at the University of Malaya such as MBA, MS or MIM required a minimum IELTS score of 6. Please note that the IELTS requirement may vary as per the choice of course. Students are advised to look carefully at the eligibility criteria of their desired course.
