The minimum TOEFL IBT score required for admission to Leipzig University is 78. However, some programs may recommend a higher score, such as 87 for exchange students. Study at the university usually takes place in German, which is why you need sufficient knowledge of German. They require a language level of at least B1/B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Some international degree programmes also include courses taught in English, for which the language level B2 (CEFR) in English is a prerequisite.
