While 85 on TOEFL is regarded as acceptable, it is preferable to aim higher for admission to The New School. Academic score at university is 3.4 and IB score of 85 is about equal to 60%. Aiming for higher score, closer to 100 or above will increase students' chances of admission to more US colleges
