Is a student from commerce stream without mathematics eligible for BCA or not?

    Not all universities but some allow a commerce student to pursue BCA even without studying mathematics in PUC but you must learn mathematics as a subject in BCA.

    BCA candidates should have either mathematics or computer in class 12th. As you don't have mathematics in class 12th, if computer application was a subject in class 12th then you will be eligible for BCA course. There are so many other universities also where there is no such criterion. They offer admission to class 12th pass candidates. As you are from commerce stream, so you have done mathematics a little bit that will be an added advantage for you. Try to contact the institution they will tell you about the eligibility criterion.     Dear Kapil, Yes you can go for BCA if you have completed 12th from commerce stream. But you need to work hard in Mathematics. If you have completed 12th from commerce stream. If you are looking for best university with quality education, good placements, exposure then I would recommend you to choose Lovely professional University. I stayed in LPU hostel during my post graduation years, and I had few friends from BCA course so I have idea about this course.     Yes, you can opt for BCA. Off course you can, but you have to hard wok in mathematics paper in BCA. BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Applications. It is a three-year undergraduate level course in Information Technology. The course provides you with skills for addressing the issues related to computer applications.     Yes, students from commerce without mathematics is eligible for BCA. He/She must have minimum marks and his/her 12th class I. e. , 50%. If he/she fulfill this criteria then he/she can get admission in any college of his/her choice. Although some best colleges have different criteria to get admission. Hope you understand !

    Yes, he/she is eligible for the same, as in BCA the main thing is coding that has no means with any other subject.
