Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) admissions are closed for most of the courses. The university usually concludes the admissions by August and September. Candidates interested in taking admission must apply online on the university website for admission. The university opens the admission cycle with the opening of registration portal. Admission to all the courses of PJTSAU is based on entrance-exam scores.

Currently, the application process for all the programmes at PJTSAU is closed. However, the admission process for the UG programmes at PJTSAU has begun as candidates who are selected based on their EAMCET rank have applied for the counselling programme.
The application process for admission to the UG programmes, i.e. BTech and BSc is generally concluded between June and August. Candidates willing to apply to the UG courses at PJTSAU must have passed class 12 in the Science stream with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories) and should have a valid rank in the EAMCET exam conducted by the Government of Telangana.
