B.Ed	Candidate must have passed graduation from a recognised University/Institute.

Institute has a well supported campus with facilities such as Auditorium, Cafeteria, Gym, Hospital / Medical Facilities, Hostel, Labs, Library, Sports Complex, Wi-Fi Campus.

Shekhar Social Mahila Mahavidyalaya courses are approved by eminent Government bodies such as NCTE. The combined seats available for various programmes provided by Shekhar Social Mahila Mahavidyalaya goes up to 50.
