Is admission to B.A LL.B (Hons) course merit-based or entrance-based?

<p>For&nbsp;<strong>BA LLB Hons</strong>&nbsp;admissions, the students will have to attempt the respective entrance examination of the institute if they wish to apply for admissions. Many government colleges give admission on merit-basis but the&nbsp;<strong>top colleges such as National Law Universities, Jindal Global Law School</strong>&nbsp;provide admission solely on the basis of marks scored in entrance examinations. But many government colleges conduct their own entrance examinations only after the declaration of the results of Class 12. They invite applications from candidates and merit list is released on the basis of marks scored in Class 12. Therefore, candidates can prepare for Law entrance examinations during their senior secondary classes in order to secure admission in good colleges.</p>
