    Yes, UIET Chandigarh select candidates for its BE programmes based on merit in the JEE Main exam. Hence, it is crucial that the aspirants have a valid score of the national-level exam. Moreover, the candidates shortlisted based on exam score have to further take part in JAC counselling. During counselling, the seats are allotted to the eligible students.
