Aeronautical Engineering is a niche branch of engineering. After Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering you can get jobs in Government sector such as DRDO, ISRO, Indian Air Force , HAL or other aircraft , rocket or missile PSU manufacturer or their ancillaries. You also may get job with airlines as Maintenance engineer. Job in private sector will be limited. Beside IIT you can consider PEC University, Amity & Manipal for B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering.
