Is aerospace engineering a better option than mechanical engineering? What are their benefits & how is their placement?

Aerospace engineering is very specialised branch. Obviously, placements sometimes are tricky. Mechanical engineering is evergreen and placement is almost always assured.

Hi,
How are you?
Well, each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Just there are a few differences like mechanical, electrical and civil are evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.
Other than this, you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.
So, choose a suitable branch.
Go for it.
Thank you and keep asking! -
Hi Arshdeep Singh,
As per as my knowledge if you are interested in aerospace, I suggest you to do aerospace engineering in IITs or NITs or any top private colleges in India because aerospace industry in India is not so developed. So, you can get a job either in HAL or ISRO in India. But in abroad like USA and UK, there are lots of chance and to get that opportunity, you should take admission in top Indian college or abroad. When compared to mechanical, there is a good chance because in mechanical engineering, you have the opportunity in all industries including in aircraft industry.
