Hi Aswini, I like to inform you that Bengal Institute of Business Studies (BIBS) is giving full time regular MBA programme affiliated by Vidyasagar University, a NAAC accredited, W. B State Government University, recognised by UGC, Ministry of HRD, government. Of India. For a regular MBA degree, you must pursue from a university which is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). So, dear, You can do your MBA without any doubts or hesitation from BIBS, because the degree is very valid.

As per the SC ruling, AICTE is not required for private colleges running University-approved MBA programmes. The degree should therefore be valid. -
In a major blow to AICTE, Supreme Court has ruled that an AICTE approval is not required for private colleges running University-approved MBA programmes. Therefore, the approval from the AICTE is not required for obtaining permission and running MBA course by the appellant colleges, the bench said.
