    No, Alagappa University BSc course admission is merit-based. Candidates are admitted to the UG programmes based on merit in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12. The university or its affiliated colleges may release a cutoff list to declare the minimum aggregate.

    However, for the BSc in Nautical Sciences course, candidates shall have a valid score of IMUCET. This programme is offered by Coimbatore Marine College. Also, admission to BSc in Physical Education course is done based on candidates performance in the Medical Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and Games Test marks.
