Hello,
After getting Diploma, if you cannot do BE/B.Tech regularly, then there is an option AMIE (distance education), it is degree course. The syllabus of AMIE is similar to B.E/B.Tech. The AMIE syllabus has two parts: - Section A and Section B (similar to First year, Second year etc. Of any formal

See carefully, it is 6-years not six semester and 6-years are the max. time not minimum.
