Fashion designing is a branch having a lot of scope and in LPU, they give a lot of exposure to students, through guest lectures from industry top shots, various in campus and out campus fashion shows, and also they have their own store where the studentscreations are showcased and sold. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics and colors. Live with fashion events, visits by renowned national and international fashion designers, innovation and creativity is fostered in the students at every step. They are encouraged to experiment with different materials to create conceptual wear and accessories. Also Students are exposed to fashion shows, craft fairs, industry internships and craft documentation. They get intensive exposure to practical work in Pattern making, Draping, Weaving, Printing, Dyeing, Garment Construction labs. Students are given various Live-projects during the course of the programme to create commercially viable designs. She went to educational tours to complement in-class learning. Students visit various monumental buildings and industries across India such as marble industries, tile industries, Thermax industry, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors etc. LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams and programs. LPU has a separate dept which looks after placement opportunities. Apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus, but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training.

Amity School of Fashion Technology, Noida is the best college. Placements: Placements of our college are very good, and freshers got placed very good companies. Most of the students from our course get recruited in companies. Limits are high and very ambitious for students, and freshers get a salary package of Rs. 25,000/- per month. The school is approved by the NAAC and recognised by the UGC. It has 19 in-house faculty members and 15 visiting members and was ranked 11 and 15 for Fashion Design by India Today in 2020 and Outlook 2019, respectively.
