yes, but scope is more in foreign. you can see the number of animation movies made here and those made abroad. if you are planning to do it from india, try joining Arena(best one). if you are looking for courses outside, best id cambridge UK(no entrance test required)

it is no doubt one of the most upcoming proffesions....but its better if u do it after ug...so that u have something to fall back upon later!
