Annamalai University Chidambaram was established in 1929 as per Annamalai University Act 1928 and is accredited with A+ Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). Annamalai University Annamalai Nagar is approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and some of the courses are approved by MCI (Medical Council of India). Since the courses are approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), the degree is valid all over India. Currently, admissions are open for various courses for 2023. Do check the TANCET Counselling 2023 schedule, and TANCET Exam Date 2023, and prepare accordingly

Annamalai University is credited with being first private university and has now been accorded the status of a State Government University. It is accredited with an A Grade by the NAAC in 2014 and is recognised by the UGC.
