An entrance exam is typically required for admission to M.Sc. Microbiology programs, while some universities may accept applicants based just on their undergraduate standing. Exam questions for entrance vary from school to school and may cover both general science and microbiology-specific topics. Go to the website of the particular university where you want to apply to find out the precise prerequisites and timetable. The commencement of the admissions process is usually in May or June, however exact dates can change. For specific application deadlines and procedures, pay attention to university announcements.
