Is attendance compulsory in Doon University for BA?

<p>According to the information given in the Doon University admission prospectus:</p><ul><li>Students are required to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance for appearing in the end-semester examinations. The Vice-Chancellor may allow the shortage of attendance to the extent of 5% based on the recommendation of the HoD concerned under conditions prescribed by the Academic Council.</li><li>Students whose total attendance is less than 75% will not be allowed to appear in the end semester examination and will be declared fail for that semester and year accordingly.</li></ul>
