    Your question also means that is Australia safe for Indian students as compared to other countries?
    This question arised because few years back, there were many reports that Indian students got thrashed in Australia.
    One of the reasons for this is that students cannot opt for PR if they are not doing full two years of study. Many students go for one and half year program without knowing this fact. They are forced to study another 6 months, which costs more and they cannot afford to ask their parents as they have already availed an education loan.     It surely is. The universities in Australia are looking forward to international crowd and hence make sure that the international students are comfortable during the stay. Any place becomes unsafe if you do not know the dos and don'ts. All you need to do is remember whom to be with and where not to go. Do not involve in illegal activities or suspicious work or company. Enroll yourself in a reputed university.
