Distance education from recognised universities like IGNOU is approved by UGC.

Hi. As per a notification by HRD Ministry, universities offering distance education courses will now be regulated under the UGC (University Grants Commission) ODL (Open and Distance Learning) Regulations, 2017. You can get an approved copy from UGC website.
