    There is no comparison between agriculture and genetics. Each branch has its own merit and demerits. So it comes down to personal preference. If you think Genetics offers promising career than choose Genetics or vice versa. However, in terms of opportunities, B.Sc in agriculture has a lot of career options and also you can pursue higher education or do a business in agriculture.

    No, because there are lot B.Sc Agriculture graduates in India and still searching for job. but B.Sc Genetics is offered by less colleges and graduates are less in India as compared to agriculture. Jobs are available abroad also for genetics students. I prefer only B.Sc Genetics when comparing with agriculture.
