Is B.Sc Computer Science lateral entry admission possible in Bangalore Karnataka?

The Bachelor of Computer Science (abbreviated BCompSc or BCS) is a Bachelor's degree awarded by some universities for completion of an undergraduate programme in computer Science. In general, computer Science degree programs emphasize the mathematical and theoretical foundations of computing. The duration for pursuing a B.Sc. Course is 3 years, but when an applicant opts for lateral entry admission, they are provided with the opportunity or getting into the 2nd year of this course directly, and the course duration decreases for 2 years only. Candidates should have qualified a Diploma in the same stream as that of the B.Sc. From a recognised institution. They should have scored at least 60% marks in their Diploma course.

Lateral Entry to Second semester of B.Sc. (IT) : Admission is open to those candidates who have successfully completed their 10+2 in any discipline or equivalent or a 3 year Polytechnic Diploma from State Technical Board after 10th standard. If the student has good academic record then they can go for B.Sc. For CS or else after doing Diploma they can get lateral entry.
